"From the Heart" Patient Art Exhibition Opening Reception

Join Jacksonville nonprofit Art with a Heart in Healthcare for the free public opening reception of From the Heart at MOCA Jacksonville. Presented in partnership with Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the exhibition features 25 original works created by patients and their siblings alongside AWAHIH Artists in Residence. Each piece reflects the young artist’s memories, interests, relationships, and imagination, offering the community an opportunity to see who they are beyond the hospital experience. Guests are invited to explore the exhibition, celebrate the participating artists and families, and enjoy jewelry making, caricature artists, and a collaborative art project. The reception will offer creative activities and entertainment for the whole family. The free, family friendly reception will be held Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. at MOCA Jacksonville, 333 N. Laura St.
