Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and the Fourth of July at Riverfront Plaza in Downtown Jacksonville for an unforgettable evening of live music, family fun, local art, delicious food, and the largest Fourth of July fireworks show in Jacksonville history. From 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM, guests can enjoy entertainment and activities along the St. Johns River before the night concludes with a spectacular fireworks display beginning at 9:00 PM.

Sponsored by the City of Jacksonville and Supporting Partner Wounded Warrior Project, festivities will include:

  • The largest Fourth of July fireworks show in Jacksonville history
  • Live performances by Sal Gonzalez, Tobacco Road, Bold City Classics, and Lane Pittman
  • Face painting and balloon animals
  • The River City Readers Bookmobile
  • A student art exhibition featuring work from JAMS students
  • Food and beverages available for purchase

Bring your family and friends to Downtown Jacksonville for an exciting evening celebrating summer, community, and one of the city’s most spectacular traditions.

Event Schedule

4:30 P.M. – Sal Gonzalez 
5:15 P.M. – Tobacco Rd Band
7:15 P.M. – Bold City Classics
8:45 P.M. – Remarks from Mayor Donna Deegan, Wounded Warrior, City Council President-Designate Nick Howland
8:58 P.M. – National Anthem by Lane Pittman
9:00 P.M. – Fireworks Begin

Public and private parking will be available in Downtown Jacksonville to accommodate attendees of the 2026 Fourth of July Celebration. All parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we encourage guests to arrive early to secure a spot. Please be aware that parking availability is subject to change and may be limited based on demand and traffic conditions.

Reminder: On-street meter parking is free on weekends.

Bridge Closures

Due to the annual fireworks celebration, the Main Street Bridge and the Acosta Bridge will be fully closed from 8:45 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. All roadways are expected to reopen by 10:30 p.m. Please plan your travel accordingly.
