The 2025 Veterans Day Parade, presented by The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A., will honor our nation’s service members and veterans with a distinguished procession featuring grand marshals, senior military leaders, active-duty and retired military units, veteran organizations, Junior ROTC detachments, local high school marching bands, and ornamental floats. This annual tradition is free to attend and open to the public. With more than 2,500 participants each year, the Jacksonville Veterans Day Parade stands as the largest observance of its kind in the State of Florida.

Parade Route & Road Closures

2025 Veterans Day Parade presented by the Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A.

Start Time: 11:01 AM

ROUTE: The 1.11-mile parade will begin on Water Street in front of the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts, proceeding east along Water Street to Hogan Street. From there, the parade will turn left onto Hogan Street, then right onto Bay Street, continuing east until it concludes at the Shipyards Parking Lot S, just before Hogans Creek and Lafayette Street.

VIEWING: Parade spectators are encouraged to safely gather Downtown and show their support by wearing red, white and blue, and waving flags. The parade can be enjoyed from many locations along Bay Street, between Hogan Street and Lafayette Street. A popular central viewing spot is Ford on Bay, located at the intersection of South Liberty Street and East Bay Street. All public viewing areas along the parade route are open on a first-come, first-served basis.

ROAD CLOSURES

There will be multiple street closures in effect along the parade route. These will include both hard road closures and soft rolling closures, with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office managing traffic control at each intersection.
