2026 Veterans Day Parade presented by the Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A.
Start Time: 11:01 AM
ROUTE: The 1.32-mile parade will begin on Water Street in front of the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts, proceeding east to Hogan Street. From there, the parade will turn left onto Hogan Street, then right onto Bay Street and continue east. After passing Lot S, the parade will transition into the westbound lane of Bay Street before turning left onto A. Philip Randolph Boulevard and concluding at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.
VIEWING: Parade spectators are encouraged to gather safely Downtown and show their support by wearing red, white and blue and waving American flags. The parade can be enjoyed from several locations along Bay Street, between Hogan Street and A. Philip Randolph Boulevard. A popular central viewing location is Ford on Bay, near the intersection of South Liberty Street and East Bay Street. All public viewing areas along the parade route are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

2026 VETERANS DAY PARADE ROAD CLOSURES
There will be multiple street closures in effect along the parade route. These will include both hard road closures and soft rolling closures, with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office managing traffic control at each intersection. Please allow additional travel time and use alternate routes when possible.Road closures and reopening times are subject to change based on public safety needs and parade operations.
Full Road Closures Beginning at 7:00 a.m.
- Park Street from Stonewall Street to Bay Street
- Lee Street from Bay Street to Water Street
- Water Street from Park Street to Hogan Street
Full Road Closures Beginning at 10:00 a.m.
- Southbound Main Street from Bay Street to the Main Street Bridge
- Northbound Main Street from Riverplace Boulevard to the Main Street Bridge
- Riverside Avenue from the Acosta Bridge on-ramp to Water Street
- Acosta Bridge off-ramp to Water Street
- Newnan Street from Forsyth Street to Independent Drive
- Forsyth Street from the Liberty Street on-ramp to Gator Bowl Boulevard
- Monroe Street from the Washington Street on-ramp to Gator Bowl Boulevard
- Marsh Street at Bay Street
- Lafayette Street at Bay Street
- A. Philip Randolph Boulevard from Gator Bowl Boulevard to Ashley Street
- Gator Bowl Boulevard from Georgia Street to A. Philip Randolph Boulevard
Rolling Road Closures Beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Rolling closures will occur at the following intersections as the parade progresses:
- Bay Street and Myrtle Avenue
- Lee Street and Bay Street
- Pearl Street and Water Street
- Hogan Street and Independent Drive
- Laura Street and Bay Street
- Market Street, northbound and southbound, at East Bay Street
- A. Philip Randolph Boulevard and Bay Street
- Gator Bowl Boulevard and Commodore Street
- Bryan Street and Duval Street
- A. Philip Randolph Boulevard at Ashley Street
Street Parking Restrictions
The following street parking spaces and meters will be bagged on November 10:
- Water Street between Park Street and Hogan Street
- Hogan Street between Water Street and Bay Street
- Bay Street between Hogan Street and A. Philip Randolph Boulevard
- A. Philip Randolph Boulevard between Bay Street and Duval Street
