The Law Offices of Ron Sholes Sista Strut Jacksonville returns for its 10th annual walk and rally on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at VyStar Ballpark in downtown Jacksonville. This powerful community event brings thousands together in a 3K walk to raise awareness about breast cancer and its disproportionate impact on women of color, while celebrating survivors, supporting fighters, and honoring those we’ve lost. Sista Strut is more than just a walk—it’s a movement. With vibrant energy, uplifting music, and a strong sense of community, participants come together in pink shirts and gear to show solidarity and strength. The morning begins with a high-energy rally at 8:30 AM, featuring motivational speakers, survivor recognitions, and music to get everyone moving. The 3K walk follows immediately after, creating a sea of pink through the streets of Jacksonville. This year’s event is especially meaningful as we celebrate a decade of Sista Strut Jacksonville, powered by community support and the dedication of our presenting sponsor, the Law Offices of Ron Sholes. Proceeds from the event benefit two incredible local organizations: Sisters Network Northeast Florida, Inc. and The Pink Queen B Foundation, Inc., both of which provide essential education, advocacy, and support for women battling breast cancer in our community. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, but research shows that Black women are more likely to be diagnosed at younger ages, with more aggressive forms of breast cancer, and face higher mortality rates. Sista Strut raises not only funds but also awareness—educating women on the importance of early detection, regular screenings, and access to local health resources.
